Internship - Private Asset Management, Client Services Team (Year-Round)

Team Overview:

Private Asset Management (PAM) is a group within Baird Private Wealth Management that provides investment consulting for some of the firm’s largest institutional investment portfolios including foundations and endowments, pensions and other ERISA plans, companies and trusts and ultra-high net worth families.

 

Internship Location, Availability and Hours:
Located in our downtown Milwaukee, WI office, the intern must be able to work part-time during the school semesters, 15-20 hours per week, and full time during the summer, 37.5-40 hours per week. We are seeking a local student who can start in May 2024.

 

As a Private Asset Management Client Service Intern, you will:

  • Assist Data, Client Service and Operations teams with preparing monthly and/or quarterly client performance reports and account setup and maintenance functions
  • Partner with Data team on testing automated reports and auditing for accuracy
  • Support Client Service with use of Client Relationship Management tool for task management and the workflow process across PAM teams
  • Participate in all PAM team meetings and bi-weekly investment committee meetings
  • Perform additional duties and assist with ad hoc projects as assigned

 

 What we look for:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or liberal arts
  • Anticipated graduation date of May 2025 or later
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate ideas effectively in a team environment
  • Positive attitude, proactive in seeking additional work, and strong initiative
  • Detail-oriented and exhibits organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, take direction from multiple sources and remain calm under pressure
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
