Research Technologist (Neuroscience/Genetics/Therapeutics Research)

Our neuroscience and molecular genetics lab is seeking highly motivated individuals for a research technologist position to support our studies on human brain development and therapeutics. Our research studies the molecular mechanisms involved in brain development as it relates to ion channels, as well as the development of precision therapeutics for children affected with developmental disorders.

Research technologists will perform a wide range of molecular biology, cell culture, and electrophysiology experiments, among general lab duties.

Research technologists routinely have the opportunity to serve as co-authors on publications that include their work, with the ideal candidate undertaking an "individual project" to support applications to PhD or MD programs.

Previous research experience is highly desirable, but not required. Successful applicants are expected to make a two-year commitment.

You will learn highly marketable skills for transition to industry or academia.
