Corporate Tax Intern

The Corporate Tax intern will be responsible for assisting the corporate tax function, including preparation of tax returns and tax audit support and provide tax-related support on a global level.

 

Responsibilities

  • Serves as support for Domestic Tax Director, and various other members of the Tax Department
  • Prepare U.S. federal compliance forms for domestic and foreign companies
  • Assist in collecting and analyzing financial data for purposes of calculating the quarterly income tax provisions
  • Perform research related to specific tax matters
  • Assist with basis studies
  • Special projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Must currently be pursuing a 4 year degree in Accounting or Finance.  Preferably a Junior or Senior.
  • GPA of 3.5 or higher strongly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage several tasks/projects simultaneously
  • Attention to detail
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Efficient with MS Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Advanced problem solving and teamwork skills
  • Prior experience working in an office setting a plus
  • Able to work 40 hours per week during the summer
