Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Aurora is seeking qualified new graduates to join the Emergency Department Team. If you have experience in the acute care setting as a tech, nurse extern, or as a CNA in a critical care area we would consider your application. These positions are Full Time Night shift 1900-0730 with a weekend and holiday rotation.

Emergency Department Nurses play a critical role in providing life-saving care to patients in emergency situations. They are the first line of defense in addressing a wide range of medical emergencies, from heart attacks and strokes to traumas and overdoses.

The role of an Emergency Department Nurse requires a unique blend of technical skills, clinical judgment, and compassionate care. These nurses are often faced with complex and rapidly changing patient conditions, and must be able to make quick, informed decisions to ensure the best possible outcomes.

In addition to providing direct patient care, Emergency Department Nurses also play a key role in coordinating the efforts of interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, pharmacists, and respiratory therapists. They are responsible for ensuring that all aspects of patient care are properly documented, and that communication is clear and accurate between all members of the care team.
