Training Coordinator

Are you looking to start your career in training? Do you strive to overdeliver and have high attention to detail? If so, we want to talk to you. Good Karma Brands is looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented Training Coordinator to join our expanding Training and Education team. The ideal candidate will play an important role in the preparation and coordination or our new and internally transitioning teammates training expense. This role will work with hiring managers across all GKBs markets and connect with teammates as they start their career at GKB.
 
Daily Tasks of a Training Coordinator
  • Assist with creating or updating new training materials as necessary and understand what should be created/updated through your meetings with teammates and knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of teammates
  • Act as Master Scheduler for the Training department
  • Partner with Training and Education Program Manager and others across the Home Office team (Communications, IT, HR, Operations, Finance, etc.) to understand where teammates may need additional training and support, and assist in building and executing training to meet those needs
  • Develop draft of teammate training plans for new and transitioning roles across GKB markets
  • Connect with hiring managers and Training and Education Program Manager to develop training plans for new and internal transition teammate leading up to their first day
  • Create and distribute training communication to all Subject Matter Experts involved within a training plan before their first day
  • Schedule teammates first day and various other centralized training meetings specific Subject Matter Experts as necessary/ directed by Training and Education Program Manager
  • Communicate, distribute, and grade specific training assessments for new and internal transition teammates
  • Be the barrier of quality in terms of Teammate experience, and content developed
  • Act as a digital content librarian for all training and education documentation and guides
  • Assist Training and Education Program Manager with the scheduling and training plan development for bimonthly Management training
  • Manage list of teammates who need to complete Management Training with suggested class start dates
  • Order Gallup Strengths Finders codes and manage/update master GKB spreadsheet of teammates responses
  • Create and distribute Strength Finders communication assignment to managers of new teammates
  • Execute and overdeliver on additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by Training and Education Program Manager
  • Be a Good Karma Brands ambassador and culture carrier by adhering to the GKB core values: Listen, Be Honest, Follow Through, Work Hard, Teamwork and Over Deliver
 
Preferred knowledge, skills, and qualifications:
·       Preferred experience with Microsoft suite of applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
·       Preferred experience with master scheduling
·       Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
·       Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills  
·       Excellent communication and organization skills 
·       Exercise good judgment and possess the ability to analyze and resolve problems
·       Detailed oriented and the ability to prioritize tasks
 
Hours/Salary/Benefits:
This is an exempt role with a competitive base salary. This role is eligible for full benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, Life Insurance, STD, LTD, 401(k) Plan, Dependent Care, paid parental leave, and more with opportunities for salary growth increase with skills and responsibilities and meeting targeted goals. The position will be required to work some evenings and weekends.
