Software Engineering Intern

The Badger Meter Internship Program provides hands-on, real-world experience to students through projects that make a difference! In addition to your projects, you will be given the opportunity to participate in our robust Intern program focused on Badger Meter Culture, professional development, community outreach and a final capstone project.

Badger Meter is hiring a Software Engineering Intern in Milwaukee or Racine WI. The Software Engineering Intern will be responsible for software development & implementation of test applications, coding, and debugging new software or making enhancements to existing software for internal and external customers. The intern will write programs according to given specifications using tools like JIRA, Git, AWS and languages like Python, JavaScript or C#. The intern will collaborate across departments to learn and understand problems with software. The intern will develop automated unit testing for SoloCUE, FlowCal and other FI software programs to reduce verification test time.
