Seasonal Environmental Educator
The Root River Environmental Education Community Center is seeking applicants to fill part-time seasonal employment for the 2021 calendar year. Employment will begin the end of May and continue until the end of September. Job duties include: renting boat vehicles (kayaks and canoes), providing boat safety apparatus to customers, insuring that customers have completed necessary documentation to obtain boat rental usage, cash handling, and maintenance of the facility both indoors and outdoors. Additionally, there will be expected participation in various events and creative projects throughout the 2021 season including summer camps, community projects, and weekly environmental education workshops for kids. Hours will vary weekly. Current UWP students and alumni are encouraged to apply. MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 50lbs.
