The primary role of the communications specialist is to create excitement for our work and advance our mission through marketing campaigns, membership interaction and volunteer inspirations. The specialist reports to the Executive Director but may be managed by other staff as needed. The specialist is expected to have a significant interest in writing for our local watershed issues and solutions. Responsibilities include print campaigns, email campaigns, public relations, member services, story development, and some admin functions. The goal of the position is to boost our interaction with members, volunteers, donors, corporations and residents. You will be telling our story.
