Interns are provided with one-year, limited TMAC memberships, are strongly encouraged (with hourly compensation) and expected to attend TMAC educational meetings in the Chicago area on or about the third Thursday afternoon and evening of each month during their internship. These educational sessions include speakers on topics of interest in financial and treasury management. The interns are also invited, strongly encouraged, and expected to attend the annual TMAC conference, the Windy City Summit, in Chicago, one Wednesday through Friday in May. At the Summit, the interns will learn at general sessions, will network with TMAC members and sponsors, and will be recognized as TMAC Scholars at the honorary luncheon on Thursday. Interns are provided a free registration to WCS, all meals, and one night at the conference hotel. Applicants are expected to show their appreciation for TMAC’s generous funding of the Scholarship/Internship and commit in their application to attend all TMAC meetings and the Windy City Summit.
